Patricia Jean Cook – Belle Vernon

Patricia Jean Cook, 69, passed away peacefully on Jan. 8, 2022, at Baldwin Health Center in Baldwin. “Johnnie May,” as she was affectionately known, was born on April 6, 1952, to the late Norma Jean Cook Jackson and Sylvester William Wynn. She was a baptized member of First Baptist Church of Finleyville. Johnnie May had a caring and giving spirit that was evident when you were around her. She would always ask how family members were doing and would want to gift what she had to someone else. After visiting with her, she would say, “Tell everyone I’m praying for them.”  She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Gene Paul Jackson. Johnnie May is survived by brothers, Michael (Alia) Jackson of North Versailles, and Curtis Jackson of Atlanta, Ga.; daughter, Nicole Lynn Cook of Washington, Pa.; nieces, Sadie and Emma Jackson of Atlanta, Ga.; aunts, uncles and many cousins and friends. Viewing will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 16, 2022, with a service starting at 4 p.m. at HOUSE OF JACKSON MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 546 Thompson Ave., Donora, with Bishop Karl Jackson officiating. Celebration of life has been gently placed in the hands of House of Jackson Memorial Chapel, Karl Jackson, funeral director, 724-379-5420.
