Jerry William Dean, 56, of Greensburg, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2022, at Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital. Born Dec. 15, 1965, in Kirkwood, Mo., he was a son of Gloria Pauley Burch and her husband John of Elizabeth, Pa., and the late Jerry R. Dean. Jerry had been employed at MTI Global and was previously employed at UPMC and Excela Health. He earned an associate degree from the Western School of Health and Business in Pittsburgh and was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Jerry loved computers and technology and would not tolerate a dirty car, but most of all, he was a loving father who adored his daughters. Along with his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dolores and William Pauley; and his father-in-law, George Petro. In addition to his mother, Jerry is survived by his wife of 27 years, Denise Petro-Dean of Greensburg; two daughters, Cortney E. Dean and Shelby N. Dean, both of Greensburg; two sisters, Tammie Schieber of McKeesport and Kimberly P. Hutchens and her husband William of Wilmington, N.C.; his mother-in-law, Jacqueline Petro of Latrobe; and several nieces, nephews, and in-laws. There will be no public visitation.  Services and interment are private. Arrangements are being handled by LOPATICH- BRINKER FUNERAL HOME LLC, 601 Weldon St., Latrobe.
