Jo Yvonne ‘Jody’ Kolich – McKeesport

Jo Yvonne “Jody” Kolich, age 66, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Jan. 9, 2022, at UPMC Mercy. She resided at Kane Community Living Center in McKeesport. She was born in McKeesport on June 12, 1955. She is now reunited in Heaven with her husband, Paul Daniel Kolich; parents, Joseph and Edna Dreer Kampert; and sister, Faith Ann Kampert Pascoe. She is survived by sons, Jonathan (Lauren Neese) Kolich of Tarentum and Jeremy (Dara) Kolich of Rankin; sister, Brenda (Jim Sr.) Honick of Dravosburg; brother, Rev. Joseph (Angela) Kampert Jr. of Canton, Ohio; two stepgrandchildren, Kai and Leal; brother-in-law, Harold Pascoe of West Elizabeth; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Jo loved her family and enjoyed spending time together and playing games. She had fur babies, Beans, Gabbie, Tigger and Patches, that meant the world to her. Jo was strong in her faith and beliefs and looked forward each Sunday morning to watch her brother Joe and his church on their Bethel Baptist Church, Canton, Ohio Facebook page. Family and friends will gather from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2022, at STRIFFLERS OF WHITE OAK CREMATION AND MORTUARY SERVICES, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131, Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177. Services will be held in the funeral home chapel at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 12, with the Rev. Joseph Kampert Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Richland Cemetery, Dravosburg.
