On Thursday, Jan. 6, 2022, Janet DeLozier, 87, of Rostraver, formerly of Lo-cust Grove, Va., passed away peacefully with family by her side. She was born in Braddock, on July 7, 1934, to the late Gladys and Clyde Ferree. Janet loved QVC shopping, playing bingo, music (especially Engelbert Humperdinck), dogs, bird watching and baking. Janet was fondly known to many as “Mom,” “Gram,” “Smiley” or “Sunshine” and was loved tremendously by her family, friends and caregivers. She is survived by her five children, Jeannine (Ron) Yaniga, Patricia (Harry) Rosnick, Daniel (Cynthia) DeLozier, Susan (Larry) Hall and Lesley (David) DeLozier-Varnum; 12 grandchildren, Leah (James) Ross, Jason Yaniga, Audra (Alan) Battles, Lindsey Yaniga, Richard (Courtney) Winski, Timothy (Ebony) Winski, Brianne (Hector) Winski-Reyes, Betsy Rosnick, Jessica (Noah) Bey, Alexa DeLozier-Varnum, Logan DeLozier-Varnum and Elena DeLozier-Varnum; 11 great-grandchildren; numerous other extended family members; her beloved dogs, Barney and Flynn; and all who loved her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband and love of her life, William; her sister, Frances Mae; brothers, Harry and James; and sisters-in-law, Mary, Vi and Helen. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2022, at JAMES C. STUMP FUNERAL HOME INC., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township, 724-929-7934, www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com, where a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2022.
