Kathryn ‘Kitty’ Hess – Dzatko

After a long battle with breast cancer, Kitty went to be with our Lord on Friday, Dec. 31, 2021. She was born on Dec. 31, 1950, daughter of the late Thomas and Jean Nix Hess of Belle Vernon. She was a graduate of Belle Vernon High School and worked numerous jobs in the clerical field. She was Christian by faith. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, James; a sister, Karen Poziviak of Dunlevy; brother, Fred Hess of Charleroi; brother, Thomas and wife Vickie Hess of Belle Vernon; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, James Dzonko; sister-in-law, Deb Hess; brother-in-law, John Poziviak; niece, Kimberly Hess; and nephew, Eric Dzonko. Per Kitty’s request, there will be no public viewing or services. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to RHOME FUNERAL HOME INC., 1209 Grand Blvd., Monessen.
