Lisa Jo Latkanich-Venneri – Monessen

Lisa Jo Latkanich-Venneri, 52, of Monessen, departed this world and gained her wings on Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2021. She is the daughter of the late Boris Latkanich and Joyce Fabian Latkanich Stanczyk and stepfather, John Stanczyk, who reside in Buffalo, N.Y. She was born in Charleroi, on Aug. 22, 1969. Lisa was a dedicated registered nurse, working primarily with hospice and home health care. She loved supporting and volunteering at community events, such as cash bashes, and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Lisa will be remembered for enjoying life and nature, gardening, traveling and loving her animals, family and friends. In addition to her mother and stepfather, she is survived by her husband, Matthew A. Venneri of Belle Vernon; two children, daughter, CeaAnda L. Taylor and her fiancé, Demetrius Austin of Monessen, and her son, Chase L. Taylor and his girlfriend, Linda Hamilton of Bridgeville; a brother, Bryan B. Latkanich of Fredericktown; and five grandchildren, Azariah A., Cassiel D., Analeesi Jo and Anessah L. Austin and Elias V. Taylor. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2021, at FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC., 700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-5300. A funeral service will follow at 8:30 p.m. in the funeral home with Capt. Susan Thwaite officiating. Interment will be private in Grandview Cemetery.
