Christopher A. ‘Chipper’ Byrd – Brownsville

Christopher A. “Chipper” Byrd, of Brownsville, answered the call to heaven on Dec. 16, 2021. He was born Oct. 11, 1952. Chipper was preceded in death by his mother, Yvonne Weatherspoon; father, Christopher C, Byrd; brother, Kerwin Byrd; sister, Yma Smith; and son, William Byrd. He is survived by his daughter, Christina Byrd; Thelma Peaches Holmes; and six grandchildren; brothers, Kevin, Lamont, Devaga and Lamar Byrd; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Viewing is from 10 a.m. to noon, Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2021, followed by a service at House of Jackson Memorial Chapel, 546 Thompson Ave., Donora, Pa., Eulogist, Bishop Karl Jackson. Interment at Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
