Sophie J. Ferenac – Greenock
Sophie J. Ferenac, age 96, of Greenock, passed away at home on Saturday, Dec. 11, 2021. Born March 7, 1925, in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Rose Ziemianski Novak. Sophia was a billing supervisor for Tube City Inc. in Glassport. She is survived by her nephew, Richard (Diane) Tomkowitz of Boston, Pa.; and several cousins. Sophie was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Ferenac, who passed away April 27, 2016; and her brothers, Louis and Anthony Novak. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 16, 2021, at Daniel F. Bekavac Funeral Home & Crematory, 4504 Walnut St., Versailles Boro, McKeesport, PA 15132, 412-678-3454.
