Philomena ‘Minnie’ Pascarella Pandrock – New Eagle, formerly of Donora

Philomena “Minnie” Pascarella Pandrock, 99, of New Eagle, formerly of Donora, died Sunday, Dec. 12, 2021, at Mon Valley Care Center. Born Nov. 1, 1922, in Monessen, she was the daughter of the late Venturo and Antoinette Suppa Pascarella. A homemaker, Minnie was the oldest surviving member of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church in Donora. She enjoyed baking and reading and was also a member of the St. Mary Altar Society. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, with whom she lived for 26 years, Gregory “Rocky” and Adele Pandrock of New Eagle; two daughters and a son-in-law, Mary Totedo of Indianapolis, Ind., and Nancy and Frank Davis of Tampa, Fla.; four grandsons, Mark Totedo (Scott), Lance (Cathy) Pandrock, Rusty Davis and Bryan (Shelly) Rozzi; five granddaughters, Marlo Webb (Tracy), Renee (Lance) Rozzi, Jessica (Ryan) Dimmitt, Renee Pandrock (Rick) and Maria (Jay) Tingle; nine great-grandchildren, Bryan (Kat) Webb, Brittany Webb, Deven Brunsell, Kylie and Bella Brunsell, Brayden and Kendall Dimmitt and Brian and Paige Wentz. Preceding her in death were her husband, John Pandrock, who died in 1994; four brothers, James, Ralph, John and Michael Pascarella; and a sister, Susan Zazac. Friends will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. Thursday Dec. 16, 2021, at MARSHALL MARRA FUNERAL HOME, 216 Chess St., Monongahela, 724-258-6767. Blessing prayers will begin in the funeral home at 10:15 a.m. Friday, Dec. 17, followed by an 11 a.m. funeral service at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, 1 Saint Nicholas Drive, Donora, with Father John Parker. Interment will follow in Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora. A Parastas service will be held at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 16, in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Nicholas Orthodox Church in Donora. Condolences can be left in Minnie’s name at marshallmarrafuneralhome.com.
