Norma Jean Young Evans, 87, of Monessen, previously of Jacksonville, Fla., passed away Friday, Dec. 10, 2021, at Victoria House, Monessen. Born Sept. 22, 1934, in Evans City, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth Norman and Edyce Mae Knox Young. Mrs. Evans was retired from JCPenny, where she worked as a manager. She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Donald and Trish Evans of Belle Vernon, Gary and Teri Evans of Belle Vernon, and Byron and Missy Evans of Belle Vernon; stepbrother, Albert Young of Jacksonville, Fla.; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Donald Evans in 2007; son, Dennis Evans; and a sister, Edyce Young. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS LLC, family owned and operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon 724-929-6183.
