Victoria S. Kaplon Strychalski – Carroll Township, formerly of Belle Vernon

Victoria S. Kaplon Strychalski, 91, of Carroll Township, formerly of Belle Vernon, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2021, at her home. Born Nov. 11, 1930, in Yatesboro, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Michael and Julia Rose Shadak Kaplon. A resident of Carroll Township for the past six years, Mrs. Strychalski was Catholic by faith. Victoria was retired from Brookvale Sewing Factory Local 887, where she worked as a machine operator and served as union president. She loved to play the lottery, bingo, cook and bake, especially her famous nut-rolls. She loved and adored her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Janet L. and David S. Samek of Belle Vernon; daughter, Bernice Strychalski of Monongahela; son and daughter-in-law, Walter A. Strychalski Jr. and wife Patricia “Patti” of Rostraver Township; five grandchildren, Gary Molnar Jr. (Christy), David M. Samek Jr. (Angela), Renee Miklos (Barry), Amy Rafferty (Doug) and James Strychalski (Yasemine); and eight great-grandchildren, Dylan, Alexis, Marcus, Anthony, Ryan, Logan, Cienna and Talia. She is preceded in death by her husband, Walter Strychalski Sr.; two sisters, Stella Strychalski and Katherine Kiger; and six brothers, John, Steve, Tom, Michael, Anthony and Andrew Kaplon. Private visitation and funeral services were held Friday, Dec. 10, 2021, at PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS LLC, family owned and operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-6183.
