Shawn Thomas Calcagni – Monessen, formerly of Rostraver Township

Shawn Thomas Calcagni, 60, of Monessen, formerly of Rostraver Township, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, Dec. 9, 2021, after a short illness. He was born in North Charleroi on Sept. 7, 1961. Shawn was a graduate of Belle Vernon Area High School. He had a love of music and enjoyed playing his guitar. He was also a very good artist and an avid animal lover. Left behind to grieve the loss are his father, Gerald Calcagni of Monessen; sisters, Denise (Gary) Hillman of Rostraver and Dee Dee (Kevin) Bucci of Belle Vernon; brothers, Jerry (Maggie) Calcagni of Sicklerville, N.J., and Dannel Calcagni of Pittsburgh; as well as many nieces and nephews. Shawn was preceded in death by his mother, Eula M. Peters and her husband, Allan. Private family visitation and funeral services will be held at JAMES C.
