Suddenly on Dec. 4, 2021, Mr. Scipio White, 103, of Upper Marlboro, Md., formerly of Monessen, transitioned from Earth to glory. He was a retired U.S. Army major. He leaves to mourn his passing, two devoted daughters, Pamela White-Wilson and her husband Raymond Wilson and Francine White, all of Upper Marlboro, Md. Viewing will be at Christian Life Ministries on Patton Street in Monessen, from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, 2021, followed by a home-going celebration to start at 11 a.m. Masonic service will start at 10:30 a.m. Interment at Olive Branch Cemetery, with full military honors. COVID-19 restrictions will be observed, please wear your mask. A repast will follow immediately after the committal service. Transitional services of love entrusted to CALVIN L.
