Peter P. Worhatch, 88, of Donora, passed away on Dec. 2, 2021. Catholic by faith, Peter was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Parish and the Confraternity of the Most Holy Rosary. Peter was a devout man who loved God with all his heart. Peter was a kind, generous, charismatic, genuine person. He loved his family dearly. Peter would help anyone and made everyone around him feel welcome and comfortable. He served in the U.S. Air Force. He assisted in the church. Peter loved sharing heartwarming stories and funny jokes to make people laugh. Peter enjoyed watching the Steelers, Penn State, visiting Kennywood and the Outer Banks and eating his wife’s home-baked goods. He will be greatly missed. He was born in North Charleroi on Nov. 7, 1933, a son of the late Peter Sylvester Worhatch and the late Mildred Piontka Worhatch. Surviving to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Priscilla Worhatch; his daughter, Paula (Paul) Klein of Maryland; his son, Peter Worhatch of Utah and his grandchildren, Julia, Kelsey (Danny), Sydney, Therese, Peter and Michael (Kiley). A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at noon Thursday, Dec. 9, 2021, at the Donora campus of St. Andrew the Apostle Parish. Friends and relatives wishing to attend the Mass are asked to meet at the church between 11:30 and 11:45 a.m. Interment will be in St. Dominic Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to ANTHONY L.
