Ruth A. Iaquinta, 71, of Donora, died Friday, Dec. 3, 2021, in Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital. She was born in North Charle- roi, daughter of the late Thomas Eugene Iaquinta and Julia Frances Sarkus Iaquinta. Ruth was a lifelong resident of Donora, a 1968 graduate of Mon Valley Catholic High School and received her associates degree from Duff’s Business School. She was retired from Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield, where she worked as a human resource clerk. Left to cherish her memory are a sister, Mary Rose Hemmings; three dear friends, Anna Mary Clavir, Carol Ann Clavir and Jeanne Appel; seven nieces and nephews, Cindi (Dan) Lowden, John (Bridget) Hemmings, Diana L. Hemmings, George (Gina) Hemmings, Thomas Iaquinta Jr., Jamie Iaquinta and Danielle Iaquinta; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas E. Iaquinta Jr., on Oct. 18, 2021; a nephew, John Iaquinta; and a great-nephew, Jacob Thomas Hudak. Private family services were held at DALFONSO-BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC. AND CREMATION SERVICES, 441 Reed Ave., Monessen, with Father Doug Boyd officiating. Entombment followed in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Carroll Township. Condolences accepted for the family at www.dalfonso-billick.com.
