Donora to vote on student-housing proposal for former Kenric Manor

The future of former Kenric Manor in Donora remains a mystery as officials have determined the owner’s proposed use goes against borough ordinance.
Borough Administrator Terri Petroske said she and Solicitor Steve Toprani were researching the issue and came to the conclusion after reading Donora’s ordinance regarding student housing.  Future iService submitted a conditional use request for the former Kenric Manor property to use the site as student housing for various colleges and universities.
