By obits

Mable Casciani, 98, of New Eagle, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, Nov. 25, 2021, in Harmony. She was born in Char- leroi on March 21, 1923, a daughter of Angelo and Lydia Berton Biagini. Mable was a lifelong member of First Christian Church of Monongahela, as well as a loving Sunday School teacher of the “beginners” class. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved her family deeply. Mable had a gentle spirit and a kind heart. She was always ready to serve the Lord and others. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Heaven gained a “Beautiful Angel.” Surviving to cherish her memory are her daughters, Sherrie Casciani of Sebastian, Fla., and Renee Gaydos and her husband John of Cranberry Township; one grandchild, Erin Makowski and her husband Robert of Zelienople; and their three children, Makenna, Emma and John. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Leroy Casciani, who died April 19, 1978; and her siblings, Wilbur Biagini, Dorothy Biagini Sliacky and Herbert, Norman and Earl Biagini. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2021, at FRYE FUNERAL HOME INC., 427 W. Main St., Monongahela, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 2, 2021, with the Rev. Janet Scott-Mace officiating. Interment will follow in Monongahela Cemetery.
