Mable Casciani, 98, of New Eagle, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, Nov. 25, 2021, in Harmony. She was born in Char- leroi on March 21, 1923, a daughter of Angelo and Lydia Berton Biagini. Mable was a lifelong member of First Christian Church of Monongahela, as well as a loving Sunday School teacher of the “beginners” class. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved her family deeply. Mable had a gentle spirit and a kind heart. She was always ready to serve the Lord and others. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Heaven gained a “Beautiful Angel.” Surviving to cherish her memory are her daughters, Sherrie Casciani of Sebastian, Fla., and Renee Gaydos and her husband John of Cranberry Township; one grandchild, Erin Makowski and her husband Robert of Zelienople; and their three children, Makenna, Emma and John. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Leroy Casciani, who died April 19, 1978; and her siblings, Wilbur Biagini, Dorothy Biagini Sliacky and Herbert, Norman and Earl Biagini. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2021, at FRYE FUNERAL HOME INC., 427 W. Main St., Monongahela, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 2, 2021, with the Rev. Janet Scott-Mace officiating. Interment will follow in Monongahela Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to First Christian Church, 630 Chess St., Monongahela, PA 15063. Expressions of sympathy may be offered to the family at www.fryefuneralhome.com.
