He is also survived by his grandchildren, Jason (Keli) Peters, Nicole (Daniel Papke) Peters; and great-grandson Gage Benjamin Peters. He loved being an uncle to many nephews and nieces of both family and friends’ children. “Ted,” “T.A.,” “Neighbor Ted” retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel – Monessen Southwestern Railroad – Gibson yard. He continued his love of working at Giant Eagle in Elizabeth. Ted loved interacting with everyone he met and those conversations usually started with “Where are you from?” and ended with “Love you and bye!” He was a proud and active member of Christ Lutheran Church in Charleroi and a 50-plus-year member of the Charleroi Elks. Special thanks to the caring staff at Rolling Meadows Health Care Center, Waynesburg, who took wonderful care of Ted. A celebration of Ted’s life will be announced at a later date.
