Ezio A. Rongaus, 95, of Donora, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 20, 2021, at his home with his loving family by his side. He was born in Amatrice, Italy, on Sept. 8, 1926, a son of the late Domenico and Julia Gentile Roncace. He was Catholic by faith and a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Parish. A World War II veteran, Mr. Rongaus served with the U.S. Army and was a member of American Legion Post 212 in Donora. Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife of 70 years, Anna Gocal Rongaus; a daughter, Anna Marie Rongaus Johnson of Florida; three sons, Walter (Palma) Rongaus of Donora, Dominic (Kelly) Roncace of New Jersey and Joseph (Dana) Rongaus of Upper St. Clair; grandchildren, Tiffany, Ryan, Chelsea, Dominic, Elise, Taylor and Jordan; a great-grandson, Grayson; a sister, Mary Graham of California; two brothers, Dr. Emilio (Bette) Roncace of New Jersey and John (Dorothy) Roncace of Pocono; and numerous nieces and nephews. Private visitation and services were held at the convenience of the family. Entombment took place at Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora. Arrangements have been entrusted to ANTHONY L.
