Georgia M. Willey

Georgia M. Willey, 81, of Allenport, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2021, in Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital. A daughter of the late David N. and Julia Marie Donovan Willey, she was born on Sept. 19, 1940, in Monongahela. Residing in Clairton in the early 80s and most of her adult life in Allenport, she was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Roman Catholic Church of Charleroi, was a friend to all, and belonged to several area card clubs. She was employed by Dewey Milich Trucking in Centerville for 20 years, worked in administration at the University of Pittsburgh, and for the past seven years, was a clerk at California Public Library. Survivors include her sister, Frances Zaph of Elco; nieces and nephews, Dawn (Michael) Popelas, William Zaph Jr., Ryan (Kimberly) Zaph, David (Karin) Watson, Raymond (Neve Mell) Watson Jr., Lisa (Tommy) Glawinski, Kristen (Pat) Weldon, Michael (Michelle) Watson; great-nieces and great-nephews, Taylor (Chad) Kesich, Spencer (Katie) Popelas, Madison (Preston) Shaw, Carter Popelas, Julia Zaph, Timothy Zaph, Brandon (Kelly) Miller, Adam Miller (Ashlyn Jacoby, fiancée), Samantha Glawinski, Jacob Glawinski, Anna (Hunter Tatum) Glawinski, Todd Weldon, Molly Weldon, Cameron Watson, Delanee Watson; and great-great nieces and nephews, Carson Kesich, Daniel and Lawson Miller, and Aidan and Tully Tatum. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Nora Watson, in 2020. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC., 700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon. 724-929-5300. www.FergusonFuneralHomeandCrematory.com. A blessing service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home with the Rev. Kevin Dominik, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Monongahela.
