Louis Paul Galiotto – Greensburg

Louis Paul Galiotto, age 69, of Greensburg, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, Nov. 15, 2021, surrounded by family, after a courageous battle with esophageal cancer. Paul was a 1970 graduate of Belle Vernon Area High School prior to enlisting in the U.S. Air Force in 1972. Before his retirement, he worked as an environmental specialist for Defense Logistics Agency at New Cumberland, Pa. He will be remembered as an adventurous traveler, loving brother and everyone’s “favorite uncle.” He is survived by his twin sister, Beverly (Robert) Stewart of Greensburg; sister, Rosemarie Galiotto of West Palm Beach, Fla.; brothers, Tim (Pam) Galiotto of Speers and Gene (Carol Sikina) Galiotto of Slippery Rock; sister-in-law, Marsha Galiotto of West Newton; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his parents, John and Lovella (née Hines) Galiotto; and brothers, John “Sonny,” Wesley and Randy. Per Paul’s request, there will be no visitation. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Salgi Esophageal Cancer Research Institute Foundation, 5775 Post Road #1912, East Greenwich, RI 02818. LEO M.
