Leonard M. Saksun, 74, of Monessen, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his own home on Nov. 9, 2021. Born in Monongahela on Jan. 30, 1947, Leonard was the son of late Michael and Rosabell Lambardo Saksun. Leonard worked as a special utilities tech at Flexsys in Monongahela for 35 years until his retirement. Leonard is survived by his wife, Lana Anderson Saksun; twin sister, LaVern Marchines; his son, Jason Saksun; his daughter, Deelynn Saksun; his stepsons, Robert (Shirely) Pfrogner and Christian (April) Pfrogner; and stepdaughter, Joyell (Brian) Carter; his grandchildren; Jaden and Gage Saksun, Taylor (Cole) Johnson and her son Jack, Logan Pfrogner, Christian Jr., Cooper and Sophia Pfrogner, Declan, Jace, Beckett and Giavonnah Carter; his nephews, Johnny Marchines and his daughter Nina and Shane and Nicole (Liston) Marchines, as well as many cousins and friends. Leonard is preceded in death by his parents. Friends and families will received 2 to 3 p.m. Friday Nov. 12, 2021, at HOGAN-MELENYZER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES INC. (formerly Schrock- Hogan Funeral Home), 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, PA 15022. Funeral services will begin at 3 p.m. with Pastor Randy Ord officiating.
