Donora’s tentative spending plan calls for no tax increase

Donora Council passed its preliminary 2022 budget Wednesday, but some council members asked for more discussion and voted against it.
The draft spending plan for Donora Borough’s 2022 budget calls for no tax hike. A small increase in taxes from the Middle Monongahela Industrial Development Association’s properties will increase the budget a bit — from $2.5 million to about $2.7 million.
