Rose Marie Roberts, 91, of Long Branch, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2021. A daughter of the late John and Anna Swarrow, she was born in Brownsville on Feb. 27, 1930. A lifelong resident of Long Branch, Rose has resided in McKeesport for the last eight years. Catholic by faith, she was a parishioner of Saints Joachim and Anne Parish in Elizabeth Township. She is survived by two daughters, Jacalyn Roberts of Charleroi and Brenda Roberts of McKeesport; a son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Christine Roberts of Elco; four grandchildren, Francie Smith of Wheeling, W.Va., Shawn (Jennifer) Ackinclose of Belle Vernon, Charles Roberts of Elco and Johnny (Karena) Gudel of Charleroi; four great-grandchildren, Seth Smith of Fort Bragg, N.C., Charles Roberts Jr. of California, Pa., Hannah Ackinclose of Belle Vernon and Leah Ackinclose, both of Belle Vernon; her long time, devoted caregiver, Lori Husok; a special niece, Patsy McCreary; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by Jack Roberts; a son, David Roberts; and 12 siblings, Elizabeth Vereb, Margaret Berkovitz, Anna Mox Andrew Richnafsky, Martin, Robert, Katie and Helen Swarrow, Frances Walker and Verna, John and George Swarrow. Visitation will be private for the family. A funeral Mass will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, 2021, in Saints Joachim and Anne Parish (St. Michael’s) 101 McLay Drive, Elizabeth, PA 15037, with Father Thomas Wagner as celebrant. Interment will follow in Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
