Auberle celebrates another successful year

Bishop David Zubik told the staff at Auberle in McKeesport Wednesday that they’re successfully doing work he thinks Pope Francis would be proud of. “What you do is to really look into the eyes and into the hearts of people who need to have the self-respect of knowing how much they are loved, how much they are cared for and how their lives can be differenced because of the impact of all that’s done here,” the Bishop told Auberle’s leaders and staff. Zubik and Allegheny County Executive Rich Fitzgerald gave keynote remarks during Auberle’s annual meeting Wednesday at the social services organization’s main campus in the Tube City.
