Theresa ‘Bunny’ Revetta Mendicino – Peters Township, formerly of Monongahela

Theresa “Bunny” Revetta Mendicino, 82, of Peters Township, formerly of Monongahela, died Monday, Nov. 1, 2021, at the Residence at Hilltop, Monongahela. She was born April 9, 1939, in Gallatin, the daughter of Alexander and Virginia Bascisco Revetta. Theresa was a 1957 graduate of Monongahela High School. She was a former member of Transfiguration Church in Monongahela and was currently a member of St. Louise de Marillac Parish in Upper St. Clair. She retired after 26 years as a secretary at the administration building of the Ringgold School District. She had resided in Monongahela for 63 years before moving to Peters Township. She is survived by her son, Anthony Mendicino and wife Lisa of Peters Township; twin daughters, Gina Stark and husband Craig of Monessen, and Dana Tornetta and husband Mark of Windermere, Fla.; five grandchildren, Anthony Mendicino, Renata Beggan and husband John, Sierra Stark, Alexandra and Claire Tornetta; two great-grandchildren, Laylah and Lilyanah Stark; sister-in-law, Connie Revetta of Monongahela; brother-in-law, Ray Evans of Monongahela; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, William Mendicino, who died Dec. 18, 2002; brother, Andy Revetta; and a sister, Ursula Dailey. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 4, 2021, at FRYE FUNERAL HOME INC., 427 West Main St., Monongahela. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 5, in St. Andrew the Apostle Parish, Monongahela. Committal services and interment will follow in the Monongahela Cemetery.
