Dennis ‘Den/Dman’ Hamilton – Chattanooga, Tenn., formerly of Finleyville

By obits

Dennis “Den/Dman” Hamilton, 55, of Chattanooga, Tenn., formerly of Finleyville, passed away on Oct. 13, 2021. Born and raised in Finleyville, he spent his younger life and adolescent years with his family and friends enjoying camping, trail riding motorcycles, sledding, swimming and other outdoor activities. Even in his youth, his clever, free-spirited charisma took over so that he would regale his family nightly at the dinner table with colorful tales and accounts of the days’ events. At 18, he joined the U.S. Air Force, where he was a nuclear weapons guard specialist. Following his military service, he left Finleyville and moved to Chattanooga, Tenn., where he resided until his death. For 27 years, he worked at Mueller Water Products Co., as a CNC machinist and then at HASKO Industries, until he became ill. His memory will forever be cherished by his very beloved wife, Darlene Amadori-Hamilton; his father, Raymond Hamilton (Linda); his mother, Barbara Lassiter (John); brother, Mark Hamilton (Gayle); mother-in-law, Beverly Hacic Amadori; and sister-in-law, Deborah Amadori-Dils (Scott); he is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins on both sides. He was predeceased by his stepson, Kristofer Webster. Den will be sadly missed by his two fur children, Hugo and Eva. Dennis requested no funeral service, memorial, nor wake and asked that a memorial contribution to your local animal shelter be made in lieu of flowers.
