Alice E. Lauderback, 74, of Charleroi, passed away on Friday, Oct. 22, 2021, at her daughter’s home in Webster, N.Y. Born on Oct. 3, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Lois Reis Moffit. She was Catholic by faith, a founding member of the local Red Hat Society and was a former member of the Charleroi Belgian Club. She loved to host parties, do crafts and home interiors, shop, play cards, gamble and was a loving and dedicated grandmother. She was retired as the controller for Merit Contracting. Alice is survived by her daughters, Jill (Bob) Marefka of Webster, N.Y., and Amanda (Frank Pica) Roberts of Charleroi; grandchildren, Saray Elizabeth Marefka, Virginia Roberts and Jackson Roberts; brother, Charles B. (Glady Beveridge) Moffit Jr. of Monongahela; several nieces and nephews; many longtime friends, who were more like family; and her dog and cat, Java and Pumpkin. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, John “Jack” Lauderback; and sister and brother-in-law, Charlene and Jim Williams. Friends will be received from 10 to 11:45 a.m., the time of services on Saturday, Oct. 30, 2021, at CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION, 819 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, Joseph A. Lopez, funeral director. Private interment will be in Monongahela Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Alice’s name to a charity of your choice.
