Brett A. Doerfler – Charleroi
Brett A. Doerfler, 32, of Charleroi, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 16, 2021. Born on Jan. 17, 1989, he was the son of Gregg “Dorf” and Roberta Doerfler, of Charleroi. Brett was active in wrestling and track in high school and was passionate about his artwork and his tattoos. He was the bass player in his band, The Failsafe, and enjoyed camping with his grandma, Nancy, at Chestnut Ridge. He worked as a cook at several local restaurants. In addition to his parents, Brett is survived by grandfathers, William Williamson and Charles “Chick” Doerfler; aunts and uncles, William (Nancy) Williamson, Kim (Bob) Zippay, Jody (Joe) Cheplic, Courtney (Mike) Bloom, Matthew Williamson and Meredith Williamson; cousins, Brian Williamson, Mandy (Josh) Rowland, Bobby Zippay, Lori (Robert) Ritenour, Jake Cheplic, Julia (Ray) Dicks, and Charles “Cletus” Dicks; his cat, Johnny; and several close friends. He was predeceased by grandparents, Nancy Williamson and Rosemarie and Charles Minerd; great-grandparents, Julia DuJordan, Margaret Farquhar, and Lynette Bedillion; and his brother, Zachary Doerfler.
