Robert David ‘Bobby’ Vanpool Sr., born July 30, 1967, passed away unexpectedly on Oct. 11, 2021. He was the son of the late Mary Ann Sebititch and Richard Vanpool and brother of the late Karen Vanpool-Hinson. He is survived by his family and friends, his loving brothers and sisters, Richard Vanpool (Nonie), Cathleen Vanpool, Linda Vanpool, Matthew Sebititch, Eddie Sebititch and Phillip Sebititch; his children, Crystal Vanpool (granddaughter, Arabella Earley), Jesse Vanpool, Michael Amati, Robert Vanpool Jr. (grandchildren, Aliyah and Matteo Vanpool) and Stephanie Vanpool; and all his nieces and nephews. Bobby enjoyed spending his time with his family, watching NASCAR, working on vehicles, watching movies, listening to music, drinking beer, building model cars, collecting hats and helping anyone in need if he could. He truly knew how to put a smile on anyone’s face; the days spent with him will truly be cherished memories forever. He had a huge heart and kind soul. He will be missed most by his children, especially his daughter, Crystal Vanpool, who has many memories with her dad that she will hold very dear. “Shake n’ bake Daddy, you’re forever in my heart and missed dearly. Until we meet again I love you. Your baby girl, Crystal Rose.” Family and friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2021, for a memorial service for Bobby at ELEY-MCCRORY FUNERAL HOME in Fayette City, www.eleymccroryfuneralhome.com.
