Patrick Ryan, 60, of Monongahela, died unexpectedly Monday, Oct. 11, 2021. He was born June 16, 1961, in New Kensington, a son of the late Thomas A. and Eleanor Quinn Ryan. Patrick was Catholic by faith and a graduate of Ringgold High School, Class of 1979. Currently, he owned and operated Ryan’s Carpet Cleaning in Monongahela. He was a member of the former Italian Citizens Club in Monongahela, was an avid Steelers and Pirates fan and loved listening to John Kay and Steppenwolf. He is survived by two brothers, Dennis Ryan of Harrisburg and Thomas and his wife Johnetta Ryan of Monongahela; sister, Kathy and her husband Robert Sion of Monongahela; nieces and nephews, Ryan Sion and his fiancée Jenny Goettel, T.J. Ryan and Bridget Ryan; and two great-nieces, Gabriella Sion and Mackenzie Ryan. Friends will be received from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 15, 2021, at FRYE FUNERAL HOME INC., 427 W. Main St. Monongahela, where a blessing service will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 15, 2021. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Frye Funeral Home to help with the funeral expenses. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.fryefuneralhome.com.
