Gene I. Daniele, 73, of Rostraver Township, died Monday Oct. 11, 2021, in UPMC Shadyside, Pittsburgh. He was born on Nov. 19, 1947, in North Charleroi, son of the late Louis R. Daniele and Alice Orsilli Daniele. He was a 1965 graduate of Bellmar High School and retired with 44 years of service from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel, having worked in the electrical department at the Allenport plant. Gene was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Church in Monessen and the Jaguar Auto Club in Pittsburgh. He loved to travel and enjoyed spending the winter months in West Palm Beach, Fla., with his wife. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Janet Trimarkie Daniele; son, Brian (Kathy) Daniele of Greensburg; daughter, Tina (Ted) Bonifant of Kokomo, Ind.; three stepsons, Walter (Suzanne) Fronzaglio of Donora, Carl (Jamie) Fronzaglio of Belle Vernon and Dean (Rebecca) Fronzaglio of Monessen; seven grandchildren, Marianna and Lucia Daniele, Francesca Fronzaglio, Joseph Fronzaglio, Tiffini Barnes, Whitnie Christner and Courtney Bonifant; two great-grandchildren, Elijah Barnes and Finnleigh Christner; and nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert L. and Gerald Daniele. Friends will be received at DALFONSO-BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC. AND CREMATION SERVICES, 441 Reed Ave., Monessen, from 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday. Services will be held Friday beginning with a 9:30 a.m. blessing service in the funeral home, followed by a 10 a.m. funeral Mass at Epiphany of Our Lord Church with Father Michael J. Crookston officiating. Entombment will follow in Mon Valley Memorial Park Mausoleum, Donora. Those attending the viewing and services are kindly requested to wear a mask. The family suggest memorial contributions be made to the Epiphany of Our Lord Church, 44 Pennsylvania Blvd., Monessen, PA 15062. Condolences accepted for the family at www.dalfonso-billick.com.
