Carmine Mickey Forte, 75, of Centerville, went to be with the Lord on Friday, Oct. 8, 2021. A son of the late Michael and Connie Trubiani Forte, he was born in Washington on May 29, 1946. Carmine was Catholic by faith and a U.S. Army veteran, serving in Vietnam. He retired from the Allenport Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel and was a past president of Steelworkers Local 1187. Carmine owned and operated BCAC Karate in Charleroi and Bentleyville and was a seventh-degree black belt. He was a loving father and grandfather. Carmine is survived by two sons and a daughter in-law, Jeff and Kathy Forte of Perryopolis, and Randy Forte of Belle Vernon; a brother, Sam Forte of Savannah, Ga.; a sister, Linda Crow of Ellsworth; six grandchildren, Alexis Forte Wadsworth, Brooke Forte, Brandee Forte, Brandon Forte, Caitlyn Forte and Autumn Forte; and three great-grandchildren, Ava, Jayden and Carmella Wadsworth. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Forte, in 2009. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Ferguson Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-5300, www.FergusonFuneralHomeAndCrematory.com. A blessing will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
