Beatrice Bell Thomas – Donora

Beatrice Bell Thomas, 86, of Donora passed away Oct. 7, 2021, at Monongahela Valley Hospital. She was born March 17, 1935, to the late John Butler Bell and Alice Garner in Gallatin, Pa. Beatrice was married to the late John Thomas and from that union a son, the late William Thomas, was born. She was retired from Volkswagen and was a very hard worker at all she attempted to do. She was a deaconess at St. Paul Baptist Church in Donora, Pa., of which she was a member and belonged to the Foster Grandparents Program. She had a heart for giving of herself. Beatrice leaves to cherish her memory a brother, John Bell of Rhome, Texas; a very devoted and loving friend, Denitra L. Taylor from Daisytown, with whom she placed all her trust; and a host of relatives and friends. Visitation for friends and family will be Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2021, from 11 a.m. to noon, at which time services will begin at St. Paul Baptist Church, S. McKean Avenue, Donora, with the Rev. Lee Haney officiating. Interment will be at Mon Valley Memorial Park, 49 Second St. Ext., Donora, PA 15033. Arrangements are entrusted to William R. Taylor Funeral Home, 645 McMahon Ave., Monessen PA 15062, 724-684-4877, Trudy L. Taylor, director in charge.
