Chris Ann Ruse, 60, of Monongahela, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2021, after a brief illness. She was born Oct. 24, 1960, in North Charle- roi, the daughter of Elaine Rodabaugh DeMoss, who survives and resides in Rostraver Township, and the late William Warren De-Moss. Chris was a 1978 graduate of Ringgold High School. On the weekends, she loved to go to flea markets and garage sales with her mom. She enjoyed the outdoors, baking and spending time with her family and friends. For many years, Chris was devoted to raising her granddaughter, Nevaeh. She will be sadly missed by everyone who knew her. She is survived by her husband, Kerry Ruse, with whom she celebrated 14 years of marriage on July 7, 2021; son, Joe Neidermeyer and wife Sara of Neville Island; two grandchildren, Nevaeh and Cameron Neidermeyer; brother, Bill DeMoss and wife Dolores of Roscoe; and two sisters, Linda Garber of McKeesport, Shelly Cheesebrough and husband Jack of Rostraver Township. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Amber Neidermeyer who died on July 4, 2019; and a brother, Daniel De-Moss. There will not be any visitations or funeral service. The family is planning to have a memorial service at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of FRYE FUNERAL HOME INC., Monongahela.
