Anna S. Kuk, 94, of Port Vue, died Sept. 29, 2021, at home surrounded by her loving family. Born May 29, 1927, in Glassport, she was the daughter of the late Zygmunt and Leokadya Gniazdowski Ruszkoski and wife of the late Edward J. Kuk. Anna was a member of the Sodality of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Saints Joachim and Anne Parish, and Polish National Alliance 750 in Glassport. She loved jigsaw puzzles and sewing. When her five daughters were younger, she would sew them dresses. She was well known for the delicious cookies she baked for different family functions. She is survived by daughters, Arlene (the late Edward) Falvo, Janet (s.o., Chino Rankin) (the late Daniel) Busanic, Carol (Albert) Leibold, Patricia (David) Egler and Gloria (Robert) Stricker; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and one on the way; and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Michael Falvo; sister, Frances Skotnicki; and brothers, Frank and Joseph Ruszkoski. Family and friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 8, 2021. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, 2021, at Queen of the Rosary Church, the Rev. Miroslaus A. Wojcicki will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Mary Polish Cemetery. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.jaycox-jaworskifh.com, Chris Odasso, supervisor.
