June Tonini, 93, of Rostraver Township, went to be with the Lord on Monday, Oct. 4, 2020. A daughter of the late Frank and Minnie Kurjanwicz, she was born in California, Pa., on Oct. 22, 1927. Catholic by faith, she had resided in Rostraver for the past 65 years and was formerly of Monessen and Richeyville. June enjoyed playing cards and going to the casino, especially the Meadows. She also enjoyed going to her cabin. Survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-law, Frances and Gene Gaylor of Williamsport, Md., Kim Tonini and Lester Waggoner of Monessen, and Rosemarie Tonini and her boyfriend Dana Dolfi of Belle Vernon; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Danny and Amy Tonini of New Eagle, and Mark Tonini of Smithton; a sister and brother-in-law, Frances and Norman Bilinski of Brighton, Mich.; a sister-in-law, Beatrice Kurjanowicz of Richeyville; nine grandchildren, Christina Smith, Brian Tonks, Holly, Daniel, Marcus, Jason, Kevin, Brandy and Justin Tonini; and 12 great-grandchildren, Hunter, Colt, Talon, Ava, Nathan, Lyla, Penelope, Odin, Grace, Walker, Carter and Camille. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas Tonini, in 1992; a son-in-law, Marvin Tonks, in 2010; a daughter-in-law, Sheryl Tonini, in 2009; and a brother, Bernard Kurjanowicz. Friends will be received at FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC., 700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-5300, www.FergusonFuneralHomeAndCrematory.com, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 10 a.m. Thursday with Pastor Bob Riconda officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
