Eugene G. “Pic” Piccolo Jr., 60, of Monongahela, died unexpectedly Friday, Oct. 1, 2021, in his home. He was born Nov. 8, 1960, in New Eagle, the son of the late Eugene and Grace Munger Piccolo Sr. Eugene graduated in 1978 from Ringgold High School, Monongahela Division. He was formerly employed at Golden Triangle Construction in Imperial and currently employed at McTish and Kumble Associates in Washington, where he worked for the past 10 years as an inspector. He loved spending his time playing the guitar and drums and was a Beatles enthusiast. He is survived by his son, Donovan Piccolo of Wellsburg, W.Va.; daughter, Jennifer Piccolo Colditz and husband Christopher of Monongahela; brother, Joseph Piccolo and wife Dawn of Parma Heights, Ohio; the mother of his children, Annette Leoni Piccolo of Wellsburg, W.Va.; and fiancée, Jacqueline Spires of Monongahela. Friends will be received Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2021, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at FRYE FUNERAL HOME INC., 427 West Main St. Monongahela, where a blessing service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2021. Committal services and interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Monongahela. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.fryefuneralhome.com.
