Margaret Evans Such – McKeesport

Margaret Evans Such, 97, of McKeesport, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2021. She was born in Rostraver Township on Dec. 27, 1923, the daughter of the late Ziga and Elizabeth Evans. Margaret was Catholic by faith. She was employed at the Pennsylvania State Office of Unemployment Compensation in McKeesport for many years. She was skilled in many forms of needlework, painting and pressed flower art, all of which she shared generously. A talented gardener, she was a longtime active member of the Garden Club of McKeesport. Surviving are her son, David Such; sister, Emma Evans Lelik; sister-in-law, Isabelle Evans; nieces, Judy (Tom) Buchanan and Sharon (Dr. Mark) Boykiw; nephew, William J. Lelik; great-nephews, Brian (Erika) Buchanan, Damon Boykiw and Nathan (Crystal) Boykiw; and great-nieces, Dr. Elizabeth (Cameron) Marchese and Claire Boykiw. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Such; and brothers, Stephen, Julius, William and John Evans. Interment was held at Round Hill Cemetery with Father Thomas Wagner officiating. Arrangements were entrusted to ROBINSON-LYTLE-SHOEMAKER FUNERAL HOME, Indiana.
