Karen Lee Kreger – North Huntingdon

Karen Lee Kreger, 74, of North Huntingdon, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2021, at her home after a brief illness. Born Oct. 29, 1946, in North Charleroi, she was the daughter of the late Dr. Oliver Judson Kreger Jr. and Helen Frances Tressler Kreger. Karen was Baptist by faith, a graduate of Monessen High School, Class of 1964, a graduate of Mercy Hospital School of Nursing and earned her anesthesia B.S. at LaRoche College. She loved her pets, especially her dog, Kaia, enjoyed music, gardening, traveling, boating and was very talented in needlepoint. She will be remembered by many for her caring and kindness. She is survived by her lifelong companion, Richard Pukal of North Huntingdon; brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Linda Kreger of Monessen; and nephew, Brian Kreger of Dublin, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday at PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS LLC, family owned and operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-6183, followed by funeral services at 4 p.m. with Pastor Sam Batton of First Christian Church, Belle Vernon, officiating. Private family interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
