New book showcases beauty of the Mon Valley

Landscape painter Ron Donoughe admits he didn’t know much about the Mon Valley before he started work on his new book, “Brownsville to Braddock: Paintings and Observations of the Monongahela River Valley.” After a year of exploring the Valley with his paints and brushes, Donoughe came away with a love of the natural beauty of our area and a respect for the friendliness and resilience of its people.
