Loverta Q. ‘Nena’ Miller – Donora, formerly of Forward Township

Again, the heaven bound train stopped in the Mon Valley on Sept. 23, 2021, to receive Loverta Q. Miller, 64, of Donora, formerly of Forward Township. Also known as “Nena,” she was a graduate of Elizabeth Forward High School. After relocating to Donora, Nena loved to shop and travel with her friends and could be found at wing night at Chubs Pub in Donora, listening to music and enjoying her wings. Nena was the daughter of the late Edward J. Banks Sr. and Ruby Williams Banks. Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Lazan E. Banks. Nena is survived by her son, James Miller Jr. of Donora; brothers, Edward J. Banks Jr. of Maryland and Lynn (Mary) Banks of Charleroi, Fred Williams, Larry Williams of Alabama ; sister, Loretta Miles of Pittsburgh; three grandchildren; as well as a host of other relatives and friends. A public memorial service will be announced at a later date. Final celebration has been gently placed in the hands of HOUSE OF JACKSON MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 546 Thompson Ave., Donora, PA 15033, Karl Jackson funeral director, 724-379-5420.
