Helen M. Bergman, 99, of West Newton, died Thursday, Sept. 23, 2021. She was born Sept. 27, 1921, in West Newton, a daughter of the late John and Mary Klein Rock. Helen was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, West Newton. Surviving are two children, Ron Bergman and wife Deidre and Gay Ramsey; grandchildren, Ronald Jr. and Brandon Bergman; and three great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Bergman; granddaughter, Robin Bergman; brothers, John, Joseph, Alvin, William, Elmer, Arthur, Mike and James Rock; her twin sister, Molly Rock; and sisters, Hazel Rock and Mary Rindt. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at J. WILLIAM MCCAULEY, JR. FUNERAL HOME, 901 Vine St., West Newton, where a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Interment will follow in West Newton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to a charity of one’s choice. Condolences may be left at www.mccauleyfuneralhome.com.
