Daniel James Nangle – Washington, formerly of Monongahela

Daniel James Nangle, 55, of Washington, formerly of Monongahela, died Saturday, Sept. 25, 2021, in the Washington Hospital. He was born March 6, 1966, in North Charleroi, the son of the late Charles and Matilda Boyce Nangle. Dan was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church of Washington. He was formerly employed at Life Steps, the Washington City Mission and at Serenity Farms with the Light of Life Mission in Hickory. Currently, he was employed as a driver for Uber, where he worked for the past two years. Dan was an avid outdoors man who had a passion for hunting and fishing. He is survived by his son, Daniel Nangle Jr. of Belle Vernon; two daughters, Jacqueline Nangle of Belle Vernon, and Brianna Nangle of Burgettstown; two grandchildren, Tyler and Kaitlyn; five brothers and a sister, Charles Nangle and wife Lisa of Richeyville, Frank Nangle and wife SueEllen of McKeesport, Cathy DelGaicco of Plum Borough, Dominick DelGaicco of Mississippi, Albert DelGaicco and wife Sandra of Tennessee, and Del Russell Boyce of Clairton; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Norma Boyce, Antoinette DelGaicco and Tressa Nangle. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2021, and from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 29, 202, at FRYE FUNERAL HOME INC., 427 W. Main St., Monongahela, where services will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2021, with the Rev. Fred McCloskey officiating. The family has requested that masks be worn in the funeral home during the visitations and the funeral service. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.fryefuneralhome.com.
