Ruth K. Zenobi – Victory Hill, Monongahela

Ruth K. Zenobi, 77, of Victory Hill, Monongahela, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2021, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born in North Charleroi on March 30, 1944, she was a daughter of the late Leroy and Gertrude Mae Barton Horner. Mrs. Zenobi loved spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren and enjoyed going up to the family camp and was an avid bingo player. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters and a brother. Surviving to cherish her memory is her husband of 55 years, Samuel J. “Sam” Zenobi; two sons, Delmar (Jan) Zenobi of Monongahela and Dwayne “Ed” (Colleen) Zenobi of Monongahela; three grandchildren, Matthew Zenobi, Megan Zenobi and Rico Rodriguez; a sister, Mary Jane Gardner of Perryopolis; and several nieces and nephews. Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANTHONY L. MASSAFRA FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICE INC., 40 Second St. Ext. Carroll Twp./Donora, PA 15033, 724-379-6900, where the family will receive friends from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 24, 2021. A service will be held in the funeral home at 7 p.m. with Pastor Mark Schollaert officiating. Private family interment will take place at Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora. To be socially responsible during this time of the increase in COVID-19 cases due to the new variants, we will continue to require guests to obey social distancing guidelines and personal protection guidelines which include masks within the funeral home.
