Robin Lynn Leach Makovics, 53, of Rostraver Township, died Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2021. Born in Monongahela, on June 1, 1968, she was the daughter of Judith Martin Leach of Monongahela, and the late William T. Leach. Robin was a school teacher and taught at several schools, including Epiphany of Our Lord School in Monessen, St. Edward’s School in Herminie and Mary of Nazareth Catholic School in White Oak. She was a member of Mary Mother of God Parish in White Oak. Robin enjoyed shopping, traveling and teaching, but most of all, she enjoyed being with her family and friends. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Vincent P. Makovics Jr.; daughters, Lauren Makovics and Natalie Makovics, both of Rostraver; brothers, William (Lisa) Leach of Bentleyville, Jeffrey (Denise) Leach of Finleyville, Daniel Leach and friend, Laura of Elizabeth and Patrick (Hallie) Leach of Mt. Lebanon; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at JAMES C. STUMP FUNERAL HOME INC., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township, 724-929-7934, www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com. A blessing service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 a.m. Monday, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Andrew the Apostle Parish, Monongahela, with the Rev. Kevin Dominik presiding. Interment will follow in Monongahela Cemetery. At the family’s request, masks are recommended for everyone attending the visitation and funeral Mass.
