Louise A. Spera – formerly of Monessen

Louise A. Spera, 92, formerly of Monessen, died Monday, Sept. 13, 2021, in Gilchrist Center Howard County, Columbia, Md. She was born on Nov. 2, 1928, in Farrell, Pa., the daughter of the late Dominick and Rose Vince Patrizi. She was a member of Epiphany of our Lord Catholic Church. She was retired from West Penn Hospital, where she worked as a nurse. Surviving are her son, Raymond (Melissa Ellis) Spera of Parkville, Md.; four grandchildren, Jack, Drew, Caylee and Paige; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond “Moon” Spera; her brother, Jim Patrizi; and her sister, Delores Murphy. Friends will be received from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 18, 2021, at DALFONSO-BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC. AND CREMATION SERVICES, 441 Reed Ave., Monessen. Services will begin with a blessing service at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home, followed by a funeral Mass at 11 a.m. in Epiphany of Our Lord Church with Father Michael J. Crookston officiating.
