Megan E. Mascara, 34, of Belle Vernon, Washington Township, beloved daugh-ter of David and Debra Witmyer Mascara, passed away Sunday, Sept. 5, 2021. Born May 19, 1987, in Mt. Pleasant, Megan was a 2005 graduate of Belle Vernon Area High School, where she excelled in softball and soccer, and was an avid Steelers fan who loved attending the games with her loving godmother/cousin, Daniele and husband Rob. Megan had a quick wit and wonderful sense of humor. She will be missed by her family and friends. In addition to her parents, Megan is survived by brother and sister-in-law, Joel (Jessica) Mascara; beloved niece, Mallory; aunt/godmother Evelyn (John) Hosa; uncles, Bob (Louise) Mascara and Carl (Carol) Witmyer; and godfather, Jim Witmyer. Megan also leaves behind to cherish her memory her best friend, Andrew Norris; and best friend and loving companion pet dog, Kane. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Frank and Ruth Mascara and Carl and Sophia Witmyer; and a loving aunt, Elaine Witmyer. Private family visitation and funeral services were held with the Rev. Robert Hanna of St. Mary Anglican Church officiating at PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS LLC, family owned and operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-6183.
