Charleroi OK’s amended deal with Authority of the Borough of Charleroi

Charleroi Borough Council entered into an amended agreement with the Authority of the Borough of Charleroi that will give the municipality more than $1 million over the next decade — but the agreement did not come without some debate. During a packed council meeting Wednesday, council agreed to amend the original agreement and will now receive $120,000 annually from ABC, which was approved in a 6-1 vote.
