David Glenn “Joe” Lynn, 70, of Mt. Pleasant, formerly from the Belle Vernon Area, died Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2021, at Harman House Care Center in Mt. Pleasant. He was born Jan. 18, 1951, in Mt. Pleasant, a son of the late David L. and Violet Weston Lynn. He was employed as a laborer in construction and road work. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Flo Stringhill; a daughter, Tammy K. Lynn; and a sister, Reane Kallok. He is survived by a grandson, Isacc; sisters, Jackie Patten and husband Guy, Jody Kelley and husband Tom and Edie Mickey; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received from 1 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 30, 2021, at L.L. BARTHELS FUNERAL HOME INC., Second St., Smithton. A funeral service will be at 7:30 p.m., Aug. 30, Monday evening in the funeral home with Pastor Ken Sommerfeldt officiating.
